Water For Moms

We believe every pregnant woman, fetus and child, should have access to

We make no excuses for our mission. Here's why:

In 2005 the Environmental Working Group spearheaded a study to examine the umbilical cord blood of newborns. Researchers found an average of 200 industrial chemicals, pollutants and pesticides in the blood of these babies born in August and September of 2004 in U.S. hospitals.  These contaminants were passed from the mother to the fetus. Contaminants in the tap water ingested by the mother are considered a primary, contributing factor. A follow-up study on minority newborns was performed in 2009 with similar results.  Environmental Working Group recommends that pregnant women filter their tap water.  Read More, this is the big picture.
